Pickup from where I left off.....
I have been hacking and wacking and learning the "sticking" points of Epoxy work. I am using TAP Plastics marine epoxy w/ a slow hardener. So far I think my work is improving.

Hull stripped and transom brackets added (don't ask just enjoy!)
I made my wood flour from the table saw collection bag and an old Magic bullet mixer that was given to us by a relative. (BTW we love it and use it all the time!!)However, I don't think I was able to get the flour fine enough so I went to Crosscut Hardwoods in PDX and picked up some "professional" fillers. (microballons, wood flour, and graphite for the bottom).
I wasn't going to epoxy the bottom originally, but the more time I put into this refit, the more things I shift from the "should do" column to the "need to do" column. (Whomever said it is easier to build a new boat than refit and old one is right!) I wish I was working on my Widebody, but I couldn't find the space.
So, I am pleased with progress. I am using aquatec plywood from crosscut and used a 2X8 of meranti for the crossmeber in the transom. (smells awesome when cutting!) I used 3/4 ply instead of 1/2'' for the trnsom as I wasn't planning on using "doublers" but ended up doing so anyway. So, now I have a transom width problem that I will have to address when I pick up a motor.
I am thinking of a 40, but might want to go with a 50hp. Suggestions welcome. (new etec 40hp installed in the area of $7K) What the @#$@#?
The boat is ready for its new transom and then I am going to flip her and remove all coatings on the bottom. (why o why do I do these things)
Jasco is my poison and I hope 1 full saturday will get me to a place where I can start epoxying and glassing.
I have decided to go with deck drains into a bilge and not scuppers as I don't think the deck will be high enough for scuppers to drain properly. I still am no sure of the drywell design. (I don't have any plans I am working from, this is a hybrid of Tolman, glen-l, and bateau information, pics, forum advice)
I have been trying to figure out cable runs from the center console. Just some cuttin and gluing I guess.
well, transom attachment is next then the flip!!! I am kind of excited about attacking the bottom. crazy huh!
Some recent images are attached

I really like sawzaw's! I had to cut so much that I thought it wouldn't end!
