I ripped the UHMW and started installing the gunwales today. I also painted the non-skid areas and the top of the cuddy. I also mounted the anchor roller.

I REALLY like the way the gunwales turned out. I'm screwing them on with #10 stainless screws on 12" centers. They really add to the look of the boat and I'd say make the gunwale indestructible. They are black and they set off the sheer line well. I'm thinking that more horizontial lines is better and will keep my Jumbo from looking stubby with its tall pilot house. I'll post a photo tomorrow.
