Tolman Skiff - Dodson Jumbo: 3/14 through 3/25 build notes

Where to start. Over the last few weeks I have been doing a lot of little things. I have some photo's that I will upload soon.
I have completed the bulkheads and epoxied them in place.
I epoxied the 2 roof beams in place. I made them from the 1/2" oukume ply by ripping them to 1 1/2 then epoxying 2 pieces for each beam. I then glassed the 3 exposed sides of the beam with 6 oz tape for added strength. I set the beams at 26" inside to inside. This will give me several option for the hatch when I decide which style I will get.

I scarfed my cuddy roof panel together. I have rough cut it and put 2 coats of epoxy on the inner side after taping the scarf joint. This is the first scarf joint I have cut in about a year and it definitely wasn't my best job but should be OK after a little work. The panel is clamped in place and is forming to the cuddy arc. I will glue it up today.
The bunk tops have been coated with epoxy on the inside and are ready to install. I will epoxy and tape them before putting on the roof.
The upper sides are glassed on the outside and have 2 coats of epoxy on the inside. The lower sides are coated with 2 coats on the inside and are ready for glass on the outside. I plan on glassing when they are installed so I can run the glass over the tape onto the sheer deck.
The windshield frames have been coated on the inside.
My plans for the rest of the weekend is installing the bunks, cuddy roof, double, and glassing the cuddy roof.
