Day 2 Scarfing

By pnelson - Posted on 25 May 2003

Before and after scarfing:

I almost forgot to include the last two 1/4" panels in my scarfing. It's funny how easy it is to screw up. I've learned over the years that building boats requires lots of standing around thinking, planning and scratching one's head. While this may seem like a waste of time, I've always found the return on investment to be positive.

Motto for the week: Thinking is good. I'll do some more standing around and see if we get a couple of the panels glued up and the jig built tonight. ;-) (I got three panels, (or one side) glued up but no jig yet. That will have to wait for tomorrow.)
